Bomb threat made to SHS

Senatobia Municipal School District schools went on an alert with a shelter in place order Monday, Nov. 7, following multiple threats made to the high school.

According to a release from SMSD, a series of phone calls threatening the safety of the school began at 8:02 a.m. Monday morning with the last call made at 9:17 a.m.

Coldwater robbery suspect charged

A man is in custody in connection with attempting to rob a Coldwater convenience store.

Police Chief Rickey Dandridge identified the suspect as Ryleek Miles, 19, of Shannon, Miss., who was charged with armed robbery and detained at the Tate County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
