Residents of Coldwater may now see a drop in their home insurance rates due to an increase in the town’s fire department rating.
Effective March 15, Coldwater improved from an eight to a seven in the Public Protection Classification, PPC, system used by the Mississippi State Fire Ratings Bureau, MSRB.
