Rubye Hale Foster of Hernando, Miss., passed away May 31, 2025 at The Magnolia at Oxford Commons in Oxford, Miss. She was born Nov. 8, 1937, the daughter of J.W. and Louise Whitten Hale.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Stephanie Stevens (David), Forrest Foster, Kim Murphree (Keith), Katherine Vance (Brandon), John Foster (Cheryl); grandchildren, Anna Rhinewalt (Dustin), Anthony Foster, John Stevens (Robin), Calvert Murphree (Kaylin), Tawnie Stalder (Richard) Jake Foster, Michael Murphree (Paula), Claire Foster and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine Hale Floyd.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, James W. Hale, Jr.
She was a member of Love Community Church in Hernando.
A private graveside service was held on June 2, 2025 at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia, Miss..
Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
