A fugitive wanted in connection with several felonies in Quitman County was taken into custody while on the job at a local fast-food restaurant by Senatobia police officers.
Assistant Chief Matt Defore identified the suspect as Montreal Hibbler, 25, of Sarah. Hibbler was detained at the Senatobia Police Department on Tuesday, Nov. 23, before being turned over to authorities from the Quitman County Sheriff’s Office.
Defore said SPD received information Hibbler, an employee at McDonald’s in Senatobia, had outstanding warrants on numerous charges including murder, aggravated assault, and shooting into a dwelling in Quitman County.
Officers surveilled Hibbler’s movement and confirmed he was working a shift at McDonald’s before taking him into custody without incident during a coordinated takedown at the restaurant at approximately 10:30 a.m. according to Defore.
