The Senatobia Municipal School District held its monthly board meeting Thursday, Nov. 5 at the facility on Gilmore Street.

Don Williams director of the bus department for the district, spoke highly of Bates.
“He does anything we ask of him. He helps in the shop, and will even give up his new bus to a different driver and drive an old bus. He’s very deserving.” said Williams.
The Board also recognized the Students of the Month sponsored by Mac and Charlie’s Soda Shoppe. November is only the second month the school has decided to recognize a student from all three schools- the elementary, middle and high.
From SES, the Student of the month is Paxton Walker.
Shayla Hardrick was named Student of the Month from SMS.
The Board recognized Maggie Lentz from SHS as the Student of the Month. Lentz also opened the board meeting in prayer at the beginning of the night.
