Just one race will be featured in the Coldwater primary at the beginning of next month.
A pair of Democratic candidates – Carolyn Cobb and Tarika Renfroe – will battle it out in Ward 3. The winner will face incumbent Paulette Davis (I) in the general election in June.
Voting for the primary election is set for Tuesday, April 1, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., at the Coldwater Community Center at 599 North Street. Only residents of Ward 3 are eligible to vote in the primary.
Absentee voting is currently underway during normal weekday office hours. City hall will be open Saturday, March 29 from 8 a.m. until noon…the last day to vote absentee.
All five Coldwater Board of Aldermen spots and the mayor’s seat will be up for grabs Tuesday, June 3 in the general election.
