A person charged last year for possessing child porn has been sentenced in Tate County Circuit Court.
Court documents show Dylan Lee Walton, also known as Leah Jewel Walton, 26, of Sardis, was ordered to consecutively serve eight years in Mississippi Department of Corrections and 10 years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to one count of possession of child pornography. A charge of conspiracy was remanded to the file.
Walton was arrested March 25, 2021, following an investigation by the Tate County Sheriff’s Office, and held at the Tate County Jail under a $100,000 bond. Walton was indicted by the Grand Jury on possession of child pornography and conspiracy charges in May 2021.
