A Senatobia business was evacuated briefly Thursday, Oct. 23 after a truck hauling oxygen caught fire.
Employees of Crystal Finishing Systems at 140 Matthews Drive were ordered to clear the building as a precaution at approximately 11:24 a.m.
Authorities said the fire was possibly caused by a rear off-loading pump and no injuries were reported.
A spokesman for Senatobia Fire & Rescue Department said the fire was extinguished before first responders arrived on scene.
Firefighters doused the tractor trailer with water to cool the rear pump compartment.
The staff at Crystal Finishing Systems, which specializes in aluminum extrusion, fabrication, architectural and industrial finishes, was given an all clear to reenter the building around 12:15 p.m.
