A 25-year-old Senatobia resident is once again facing charges following a traffic stop.
Brayden Ronald Taylor was charged Tuesday, March 19, following a traffic stop by Senatobia Police Department for failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon a search of the vehicle, officers found a plastic bag with 30 grams of a substance later identified as marijuana.
Taylor was previously charged in 2022 for a DUI which resulted in a collision with a Senatobia Police Department cruiser. The accident left the officer with a compression fracture of his L1 vertebra. Taylor pleaded guilty to the DUI 1st charge, but court records show multiple DUI charges prior to the 2022 conviction.
In the most recent arrest, SPD charged Taylor with possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoids, three counts of failure to stop at a stop sign, and no insurance. Taylor was transported to the Tate County Jail and his bond was set at $2,052.
