Tate County Circuit Court records show the following sentences were among those handed down during the October 2024 Vacation terms of court.
According to court records, the following decisions were handed down in Judge Jimmy McClure’s court:
• Deiontei Rayshad Ballard, of Robinsonville, was sentenced to one year of intensive supervised program/house arrest and four years post-release supervision on a charge of felony fleeing. He had a charge of felon in possession of a weapon remanded to the file. Ballard must pay $1,601.10 in court costs.
• Rachel Keyera Dandridge, of Coldwater, had her probation revoked to serve 12 days in Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to sell – 30 grams but less than 250 grams. She must pay $19.20 in court costs.
• Ricardo Shondele Gardner, of Senatobia, was sentenced to 111 days in MDOC and nine years post-release supervision after a guilty plea on charge of DUI-fourth offense to run concurrently with previous sentencing. He must pay $1,590.50 in court costs.
Ricardo Shondele Gardner, of Senatobia, was sentenced to one year of house arrest and intervention court to run concurrently with previous sentencing after a guilty plea on a charge of felony DUI-fourth offense. He must pay $2,147.96 in court costs.
• Anthony Jay Gutierrez, of Memphis, was sentenced to consecutively serve one day in MDOC and two years, 364 days post-release supervision after a guilty plea on a charge of possession of controlled substance – methylenedioxymethamphetamine 0.1 gram but less than two grams and one day in MDOC and 10 years post-release supervision after a guilty plea on a charge of possession of controlled substance – psilocyn 10 grams but less than 30 grams. He must pay $2,197.50 in court costs.
• Alexianna Herron, of Horn Lake, was sentenced to five years non-adjudication after a guilty plea on a charge of possession of marijuana – 30 grams or less with intent to sell while in possession of a firearm. He must pay $1,757.90 in court costs.
• Randy Edwin Hudson aka Randy Edwin Zucco, of Sardis, had his probation revoked to serve five years and 265 days in MDOC on a charge of burglary of a building as a habitual offender. He must pay $105.60 in court costs.
• Tony Wardell Jones Sr., of Senatobia, was sentenced to 166 days in MDOC, two years of house arrest and two years post-release supervision after a guilty plea on a charge of felony DUI-fourth offense. He must pay $2,197.50 in court costs.
• Jacob Riley Land, of Coldwater, had his probation revoked to serve in recidivism reduction program on a charge of possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine as a recidivist and habitual offender. He must pay $1,540.30 in court costs.
• Marcus McKinney, of Walls, was sentenced to five years non-adjudication after a guilty plea on a charge of possession of marijuana – 30 grams but less than 250 grams with intent to sell. He must pay $1,841.50 in court costs.
• Deandrae Ladarl Stitts, of Senatobia, had his probation revoked to serve one year and four months in MDOC on a charge of possession of stolen firearm. He must pay $1,695.87 in court costs.
According to court records, the following decisions were handed down in Judge Smith Murphey’s court:
• Kristine Lowe, of Brighton, Tenn., had her probation revoked to serve two years and 344 days on a charge of possession of methamphetamine – 0.1 gram but less than two grams. She must pay $112.40 in court costs.
Some of the final decisions reported here may be the result of plea negotiations. By law, circuit court judges are not involved in plea negotiations. Most sentences are the result of a negotiated agreement between the district attorney and defendant.
