A local author set pen to paper in honor of recently retired Dorothy Williams from Hope Ministries.
The poem reads as follows:
An Angel
A spirit who is God’s helper,
All this is sent with love.
Prayer is good with salt and pepper,
That is with faith from above.
Always a warm smile,
With the touch of the hand.
Time here is a short while,
Spoken words softly is the plan.
This blessing has been for all,
Knowing her we stand so tall.
A heart big as the sky,
We are crying to say goodbye.
The Lord smiles on you today and every day.
