SENATOBIA -- Northwest Mississippi Community College is offering up a nationally-ranked football showdown in Senatobia tonight.
The Northwest Rangers take on East Central Warriors at Bobby Franklin Field in the heart of Senatobia at 7 p.m.
This contest is a rematch of last year's state championship game, and once again, both programs come in strong.
Northwest enters the contest ranked No. 3 in the nation for the second consecutive week, continuing an impressive streak of being nationally ranked for more than five years running.
The Rangers opened the 2025 season last week with a commanding 42-17 win at Pearl River, piling up 522 yards of total offense and holding the Wildcats to negative rushing yardage.
Quarterbacks Neko Fann and Aidan Glover, along with running backs Julius Pope and Jarvis Durr, powered a ground attack that produced five rushing touchdowns.
This week's matchup promises to be another high-energy contest as Northwest looks to stay atop the national conversation while defending home turf.
Tickets and good seats are still available.
