NATIONAL SUMMARY
Yet another day with the risk for severe thunderstorms is
expected tomorrow as an intensifying storm pushes across the
South, with storms capable of producing hail, damaging wind
gusts, widespread flooding and even some tornadoes from
eastern Arkansas to western Georgia and points southward to
the central Gulf Coast. Showers are expected near and along
the Texas/Oklahoma border, but steadier rain can be expected
at times from the Ohio Valley to southern Missouri. A
separate area of showers will also extend from West Virginia
across much of the Northeast. Rain is expected to spread
from Canada into western North Dakota through the day, with
afternoon showers and perhaps some thunder for eastern North
Dakota and parts of Minnesota. Showers will also dot eastern
Wyoming, with most other locations staying dry.
