NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will push through the East tomorrow, spreading wet
weather across much of the region. Heavy rain and
thunderstorms will range from Alabama and northern Florida
up to Virginia. There will be a risk for flooding,
especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas. There will
be some snow on the northern side of the storm, spanning
from Illinois to New York. There could be some freezing rain
as well, mainly along the Virginia and West Virginia border.
Snow will move through parts of the Rockies as well. The
higher elevations of Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada and
Wyoming could all receive snow. A few light showers will
hang around in Oregon and Washington. High pressure will
keep the central United States generally dry.
