Dear Editor,
Our government is on HIS shoulders. One day, perhaps soon, the invisible will become visible. May our stance be that of Joshua: As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. That always begins at home, carried to all the other places our feet touch the ground- be it church, city, state, or nation.
From the crib to the coffin, every day of our lives is important. Childhood effects adulthood and as our grandparents used to say, We die like we have lived. We might do well to digest the Old Testament. The New did not erase it—Old concealed, New revealed! Every tittle of HIS word, every little one of them will no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled (Is. 40:13, emphasis mine). Sometimes adult traumas are from buried truths of childhood. Answers come when the cause is discovered. HE alone is the Answer to any degree of confusion, conflict, sin or situation (big or small, known or unknown, ignored or renounced). Only the Great physician can dig deep, remove, repair enough to sustain and completely heal. Our part? Yes, we have a part…..Recognize, Repent, Run To……REMAIN close. No order, no acknowledgement, NOT of God. HIS ways are not filled with complexity, only SIMPLE TRUTH. All children of God need to be confident in their place in a spiritual family. Lack of love anywhere IS LACK. God is not the author of confusion and our atmosphere is derived from those in it. Every being is responsible for improving the air so the prince of it does not dominate. Harvests of righteousness are sown in peace…by those who make peace, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits—impartial. Sincere.
Our country watches adult leaders over talk the other…ME first. The smartest minds cannot silently sit and digest. Listen my son (Proverbs 4:10). What ever happened to……Come, let us reason together (Isaiah 1:18). Guess there needs to be a connection of hearts to be aware of ‘real’ needs. Legs to prayers require face to face ----in a txt to txt world. No time (to seek HIS face and consider one another) has COST us as a nation under God. I urge you to be acutely aware of our times, the urgency to gather as a people from all walks as a community and pray.
