Nancy Carol Babb Dahlgren went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Claude and Ann Babb, along with numerous other family members.
Nancy leaves behind her life partner, Peter Nelson; daughters, Kristy Pegram (Brian) of Brownsville, Tenn., and Lauri McMillen Dixon of Arkansas; sons, Joey McMillen (Paula) of Strayhorn and Joshua Holcomb (Alex) of Kentucky; step-son, Tracy Nelson of Como, Miss; step-daughter, Tabitha Nelson Smith of Como; nephews, Jimmy, Edward, and David Bond; nieces, Cathy Bond and Susan Lee; 10 grandchildren, a step-grandson and 8 great-grandchildren.
Nancy graduated from Messick High School in 1964.
She has been a fighter all of her life. Nancy has so many friends and family who love her dearly. Her life has now become full circle, seeing God's miracles of her own children's birth, and some of her grandchildren's births. Her last breath taken here on Earth means her next breath in Heaven is seeing Jesus and family.
Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the chapel of Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial follows in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery.
