Dr. and Mrs. William Neil McKee of Dyersburg, TN announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Katherine McKee to Adam Blake Shackleford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Mark Shackleford of Wyatte. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miller of South Fulton, TN and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bloyce McKee of Dyersburg. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Lillie Fay Skeen Hicks and the late Mr. George Harvey Hicks, Sr. of Senatobia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Preston Eugene Shackleford of Coldwater.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Dyersburg High School. In 2017 she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science graduating magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi. In 2020 she received a Juris Doctorate graduating magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. She lives in Birmingham, AL where she is an attorney with Balch & Bingham LLP.
The future groom is a 2013 graduate of Magnolia Heights School and a 2018 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He lives in Birmingham, AL where he is a market manager for REI Nation.
Following a December ceremony in Oxford, the couple will make their home in Birmingham, Ala.
