A man has been arrested in connection with stealing a vehicle in eastern Tate County.
Captain Lisa Sanders from the Tate Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as TaMorris D. Saulsberry, 25, of Senatobia. Saulsberry was charged with burglary and taking away of a motor vehicle Thursday, May 19, and held at the Tate County Jail under a $20,000 bond.
Sanders said a 2004 GMC Sierra was reported stolen Tuesday, May 10, from the 3500 block of Thyatira-Tyro Road and located over a week later at an unoccupied residence in the 7500 block of Looxahoma-Tyro Road. According to Sanders, several other burglaries were reported around Thyatira-Tyro Road during that time and Saulsberry developed as a suspect in connection the investigation. Sanders said the case remains under review and other charges are pending.
