Katherine (Kitty) Hale Floyd of Senatobia, Miss., passed away at the age of 90 on June 24, 2025, at Providence Assisted Living in Senatobia.
She was born Nov. 14, 1934, the daughter of J.W. Hale and Louise Whitten Hale.
She is survived by her daughter, Callie Floyd Brown; son, William J. Floyd; grandchildren Kirby Brown, Mary Kate Mohammadi and Maggie Floyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason H. Floyd, Jr., her daughter, Pamela (Pam) Floyd, her sister, Rubye Hale Foster and brother, James W. Hale, Jr.
While living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and raising her family, Kitty was the manager at First National Bank and served as an Alderman in Pass Christian, Miss.
She also served on the board of the Mississippi Airport Authority.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
