James “Butch” Thomas Jones, Sr., 71, of Crenshaw, MS passed away April 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. He is survived by his son, James “Junior” Thomas Jones, Jr. of Coffeeville; sister, Judy Jones Smith (Gary) of Senatobia; brothers, Horace Jones (Lisa) of Crenshaw; Gary Jones (Penny) of Byhalia, Jerry Jones (Elizabeth) of Crenshaw, Ricky Jones, Sr. (Barbara) of Longtown and Randy Jones of Crenshaw and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was of the Baptist faith and was currently attending Belen Baptist Church. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed in Longtown Cemetery.
