On Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, Senatobia Culture Club met at First Baptist Church Senatobia in the Welcome Center.
The hostesses were Patsy Sledge, Emmy Jarjoura and Marilyn Pang. The devotional was given by Emmy Jarjoura based on Valentine’s Day through the reading of “Love “chapter verses 1 Corinthians 13: 1-8.
In closing several “thinking” thoughts about what a privilege it is to be “alive”, “don’t judge” each day, “true happiness” is to enjoy the “present”, and to LOVE.
Susan Van Dyke, retired choir director at NWCC and presently choir director at First Baptist in Batesville presented the program. She sang several “favorite songs” and then took requests.
While being entertained by Ms Van Dyke the members enjoyed chicken salad sandwiches and Petit fours all in the theme of Valentine’s Day. Rita Wolfe, president, opened the business meeting with a roll call and thanking those who brought items to help with this month’s community project for the pregnancy center.
In closing, thanks was given to Ms Van Dyke and all members present. Next meeting is at First Baptist Church Welcome Center on March 7, at 3:30 p.m.
