Dr. Julie Elizabeth Dyess Darby
Dr. Julie Elizabeth Dyess Darby, 48, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home in Senatobia, MS. A natural caregiver, Dr. Julie Darby was the cheerleader for all of her students; devoting her life to education. Julie earned her PhD in Nursing within the past few years. She was a devoted wife and mother; dedicating her life to her son and husband. She is remembered for being an avid fan of Disney, reading, and being a passionate animal lover. She was a follower of Jesus Christ and attended First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. Dr. Julie is preceded in death by her father, David Dyess and her father in law, Phil Darby Jr. She is survived by her husband, Brad Darby; son, Logan Cash Darby; mother, Margaret Dyess; mother-in-law, Gloria Darby; sister-in-law, Cindy Sutton (Brad); nieces, Whitnie Johnson and Alyssa Pannell (Matthew); nephew, Matthew Johnson (Sierra); great-niece, Mollie Tate Pannell; and cousins, Mark Dyess (Sarah), Matthew Dyess, Ted Harris, Ben Harris, and George Harris. Visitation was held on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5pm-7pm and on Tuesday, November, 19, 2024 from 9:30am-11:00am at First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. Service took place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11am at First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. Burial followed at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia, MS, was entrusted with arrangements
