The Tunica Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged four suspects in connection to the shooting death of a woman.
On Monday, June 3, around 10:48 p.m., the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising an individual had been shot at Tunica Courts Apartments on Old Highway 61 in Tunica.
Sheriff deputies and first responders were dispatched to the area. Upon arrival, deputies located a woman with a gunshot wound.
The woman was treated on the scene but later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Tunica County coroner. She was identified as Brenda Miller, 34, of Robinsonville.
On June 5, four suspects were taken into custody and charged—Jaylon Carter (21), Dequaveon Spears (21), Jaylin Liddell (17), and DeShaun Clayborn (16).
