A Senatobia man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of sexual battery in Tate County Circuit Court.
According to court documents, Corry Wayne Ratcliffe, 34, was ordered to consecutively serve 30 years in Mississippi Department of Corrections and 10 years post-release supervision on a charge of sexual battery. He had charges of conspiracy and possession of child pornography remanded to the file.
The Tate County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation in January 2021 after allegations were made against Ratcliffe regarding inappropriate conduct with a child. He was placed under arrest Jan. 12 and detained without bond at the Tate County Jail.
Ratcliffe was indicted by the Grand Jury on all three charges in May 2021.
