Investigators from the Tate County Sheriff’s Office are searching for suspects connected to the robberies of Dollar General stores in Strayhorn and Arkabutla on consecutive nights.
Captain Lisa Sanders said four black males wearing masks and gloves entered the Dollar General in Strayhorn, located at 3475 Highway West, on Tuesday, Dec. 7, during operating hours at approximately 9:18 p.m. She said the men were armed and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the incident, according to Sanders.
TCSO is also sifting through evidence after four black males busted open the front glass door of the Dollar General in Arkabutla at 7864 Arkabutla Road on Wednesday, Dec. 8., at approximately 10:24 p.m.
Sanders said Dollar General was closed at the time and no one was injured.
