Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Mississippi Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star convened in an abbreviated form Tuesday, April 27 and Wednesday, April 28 in Marion, Miss.
At the session Kathryn Onaye Farrish, of Batesville was elected Associate Grand Conductress of the Grand Chapter of Mississippi, placing her in direct line to lead the state as Worthy Grand Matron in 2024-2025.
Farrish is well versed in the Order having been a forty-six year member of Senatobia Chapter #266.
The Eastern Star members of Mississippi support many charities including Cancer Research, Autism Speaks, Service Dogs, ESTARL (Eastern Star Training Award for Religious Leadership), just to name a few.
