On Sept.19, the Baddour Center will host its 2nd Annual Art Auction at The Ice House in Batesville, Miss.
“This was a new event for us last year, and we were blown away by the support of sponsors, guests, and artists,” shared Mary Dade Ford, Manager of Donor Relations. “We raised nearly $25,000 and hope to meet or exceed that amount this year!”
The event will feature both professional and Baddour resident artwork in a silent auction. Additional items, such as notecards and pottery magnets made by Baddour residents, will be available to purchase as a “Buy Now” option since this is a come and go event. At the end of the event, pottery vases painted by residents and floral design provided by Blossoms in Batesville will also be available for purchase.
SoLa Oxford will be catering the event, and Hannah Roye will be providing musical entertainment. Liquorty Splitz and Southern Beverage are returning as cocktail sponsors, providing the wine and beer respectively. Landhawk Realty is the Diamond Sponsor.
“We are so thankful for the local support for this event, which ultimately benefits the men and women who live at The Baddour Center,” Ford said. “We look forward to visiting with guests while they sip, snack, socialize, and shop!”
Tickets will be available to purchase for $25 when the doors open at 5:00p.m. The Art Auction is scheduled to close at 7:30p.m. with check-out at approximately 8:00p.m.
