More than 670 students graduated from the University of Mississippi in December 2023. Undergraduate and graduate candidates received degrees from the College of Liberal Arts, General Studies and schools of Law, Pharmacy, Journalism and New Media, Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Applied Sciences and Patterson School of Accountancy.
Hayley Barnes, of Senatobia, MS, is one of those students. Barnes, who majored in Allied Health Studies, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
Davis Johnson, of Coldwater, MS, is one of those students. Johnson, who majored in Psychology, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
Bailey Mortensen, of Coldwater, MS, is one of those students. Mortensen, who majored in Psychology, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
Sarah Raziano, of Coldwater, MS, is one of those students. Raziano, who majored in Psychology, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
Lara Rivera, of Senatobia, MS, is one of those students. Rivera, who majored in Psychology, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
Rebecca Jackson, of Senatobia, MS, is one of those students. Jackson, who majored in Multi-Disciplinary Studies, received a Bachelor of Multi-Disciplinary Studies degree in the General Studies.
Joy Osier, of Senatobia, MS, is one of those students. Osier, who majored in Multi-Disciplinary Studies, received a Bachelor of Multi-Disciplinary Studies degree in the General Studies.
Jennifer Parra, of Senatobia, MS, is one of those students. Parra, who majored in Accountancy, received a Master of Accountancy degree in the Graduate School.
"Congratulations to our December 2023 graduates who are distinguished by their dedication to academic success," UM Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "They accomplished so much during their years at the university. I applaud them and can't wait to see all the ways they will continue building their legacies that began here."
December 2023 graduates are invited to walk across the stage at the University of Mississippi 2024 Commencement exercises, which will be held May 8-12. Morning Convocation will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 9 a.m. in the Grove. In the case of inclement weather, Morning Convocation will be held at 9 a.m. in the Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss.
