Carla Lynne McCollough McCain, 59, of Senatobia, Mississippi, passed away on November 12, 2025. Born on April 4, 1966, Carla was the beloved daughter of the late Cecil and Betty McCollough.
A proud graduate of Senatobia High School, Northwest Mississippi Community College and the University of Mississippi, Carla earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and carried a deep love of art throughout her life.
Carla was known for her love of animals and the outdoors. She enjoyed working in the garden and volunteering at the Arkabutla Community Center.
She is survived by her aunt Rubie Ann Lewis; son, Scott McCain; her grandson, Lucas McCain; her sister, Shayna Campbell (Wayne); and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her warmth, kindness and free spirit.
Carla’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. at Arkabutla Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkabutla Community Center or Arkabutla Baptist Church, causes close to her heart.
