A man serving concurrent sentences in Mississippi Department of Corrections for previous crimes he committed in Senatobia had some extra time added to his punishment in Tate County Circuit Court.
Records show Contraveyun Shequan Walls, 21, of Senatobia, pleaded guilty April 14, to one count of burglary of a dwelling and was ordered to serve 25 years post-release supervision consecutive to his current sentencing. Walls is serving 10 years in Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility and 10 years post-release supervision after pleading guilty in October 2021 to attempted aggravated assault in Tate County Circuit Court.
He was ordered to concurrently serve five years in MDOC in November 2021 after pleading guilty in Tate County Circuit Court to simple assault on a law enforcement officer.
Walls’ tentative release date is February 2031, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections website.
