Crews are currently preparing the roundabout in Senatobia to connect intersections of U.S. Highway with West Main Street for an overlay of asphalt. Mississippi Department of Transportation Public Information Officer David Kenney said paving could start by the end of March with asphalt plants reopening for spring.

Suspects arrested after I-55 traffic stop

A foot chase by police ending in a Senatobia shopping center resulted in the arrest of two male suspects.

According to a report from the Senatobia Police Department, officers initiated a traffic stop for careless driving Wednesday, March 12, at approximately 4 p.m., on Interstate 55.
