Murry Wooten, Jr, 69, of Como, MS died Saturday, December 31. 2022 in Batesville, MS. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Mt. Patient CME Church in Senatobia, MS. Burial followed in Mt. Patient Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters; Genise Moore (Frank) and Emma Wooten both of Como, MS and Barbara Black of Batesville, MS; a son, Christopher Wooten of Como, MS. He is also survived by five sisters; Joise Carr of Coldwater, MS, Vernessa Ward and Sarah Worles of Senatobia, MS, Pattie Sue Wooten of Como, MS and Murry Jean Black of Sardis, MS and four brothers; Melvin Wooten of Senatobia, MS, Chester Wooten, and Thomas ‘James’ Wooten both of Como, MS and Lander Wooten. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater, MS was in charge of arrangements.
