Two were arrested last week by the Senatobia Police Department following traffic violations and resulting in multiple charges for narcotics and intent to sell.
Around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, an SPD officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Patricia Grace, 70, of Byhalia, Miss. Also in the vehicle was Aundrey Falkner, 46 of Greenwood, Miss.
During the traffic stop, SPD K-9 Thor, conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle by Thor’s handler and the originating officer yielded multiple types of illegal narcotics. Officers also found evidence that the intent was to distribute the illegal substances.
Grace and Falkner were then arrested and transported to SPD for the booking process.
Grace was charged with failure to dim headlights, driving in more than one lane, possession of controlled substance- schedule 1, and possession of controlled substance with intent to sell.
Falkner was charged with possession of controlled substance-schedule 1, and possession of controlled substance with intent to sell.
Both Grace and Falkner were transported to the Tate County Jail for housing.
