Carol Jean Snider Yarbrough, 77, of Sarah, Miss., passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026.
She was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church.
She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, sipping her coffee, and spending time fishing. Carol liked browsing yard sales and auctions, always on the lookout to add to her cherished angel and rooster collections. She loved listening to gospel and blue grass music.
Carol was a seamstress for most of her adult life. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie B. Yarbrough; parents, James Frank Snider and Betty Snider Winters; brothers, Glen Snider and Perry Snider; sister, Melissa Redd; daughter, Audrey Hiller, and great granddaughter, Christian Clark.
She is survived by her significant other, Don Materna; brothers, Jimmy Snider (Carol) and Bruce Snider (Carol); sister, Beverly Davis; children, Chris Yarbrough and Tammi Yarbrough; grandchildren, Anita Clark (Brian), Amanda Messer, Amber Galloway, Melissa Alford, Miranda Carey, John Young, Ashlee Crockett, Kelsea Deutsch, Lucas Deutsch, Angie Yarbrough, Carol Yarbrough, Alayna Yarbrough, and Ashlyn Yarbrough; 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Crenshaw Baptist Church.
Burial follows in New Garden Cemetery.
