Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced Friday the completion of Operation United Front, an operation conducted in Jackson, led by her Human Trafficking Task Force.
The operation resulted in two arrests and the recovery of seven human trafficking victims.
“My office is committed to taking criminals who traffic people off the streets
and equally committed to setting victims on the road to recovery,” said Attorney General Fitch. “Developing partnerships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies across the State is a priority for the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, and we are proud to be a part of a network of dedicated law enforcement agencies that work to end human trafficking.”
During Operation United Front, which was conducted April 15, 2026, Mississippi Attorney General’s Office investigators and prosecutors worked with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners to make the arrests and recover the victims. Leadership from Compass Connections, which administers the National Human Trafficking Hotline, observed the operation, including the coordinated victim advocacy services.
The following agencies participated:
- Alcoholic Beverage Control
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Mississippi Bureau of Investigation
- Mississippi Capitol Police
- Naval Crime Investigative Service
- Jackson Police Department
In addition to law enforcement partners, the Center for Violence Prevention and Domestic Abuse Family Shelter provided services and treatment to the victims that were recovered during this operation.
Since launching Be the Solution, Attorney General Fitch’s office has trained 588 officers from across the state. The Attorney General’s human trafficking team has led 62 multi-jurisdictional operations that have led to the rescue of 387 victims and 200 arrests, as well as countless leads in the effort to disrupt and stop trafficking operations in Mississippi.
