Thomas Dudley "Tommy" Hill, Sr., 79, of Senatobia, MS passed away July 14, 2023 at his residence. Tommy worked for the Corps of Engineers and as a school administrator for the Tate County School System for many years. He was hard working and a devout Christian. He loved his family, gardening, and fishing. Tommy was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia and the Harvester's Sunday School Class. Tommy is survived by his wife, Vernice S. Hill; daughter, Natalie Hill; stepsons, Don Brewer (Susan) and Darrell Brewer (Emily); sister, Joanne Swearengen; brother, Charlie Hill (Barbara); grandchildren, Mary-Carole Hensley (Lee), Brooks Whitehurst (Mary), Meagen Russell (Jarad); Brandi Robinson (Tal), Brittany May (Gavin), Jathan Brewer (Ashley), Chandler Brewer (Mckenzie), Selena Felix (Patricio), Sydney Crabtree (Bronson), Danielle Levin (Justin), Krista Doherty (Kevin), Caitlyn Goliver (Josh) and Grady Brewer; and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Kimbrell Hill; son, Dudley Hill, Jr.; and parents, Charlie and Clyde Hill. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or First Baptist Church Senatobia. Services were held Monday, July 17, 2023 in the chapel of Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery.
