God did not give humans a spirit of fear; so, do not be afraid to stand for the Word of God. Answer God’s call to walk out of darkness into a life with Jesus Christ, who taught, “Be holy, because I am holy” (1 Pet. 1:16). We live in a flawed body, and believers and unbelievers must strive to live a humble life, treating others as they want to be treated.
Careful, when you reject God’s Word, you reject God. Stand boldly for God’s Word, and it will change your life! God is patient, giving everyone the opportunity to embrace His Way and Truth, to “cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles the body and spirit” (2 Cor. 7:1).
Remember, Jesus came to save the lost. When Jesus sent the apostles out, He told them to go to all nations and preach the gospel. “Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit” (1 Thess. 4:8). The Lord does not just hear our words; He hears our silent thoughts, and He sees our hidden motives.
No matter how we try, we cannot hide from an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God. God does not need a picture, a file, a tweet, or an Instagram post to know who is in the Epstein files and who perverts His Word. God's power, presence, and knowledge reach into the past, when our forefathers sinned against Him when expressing their desire for a king.
This is what God said to Samuel when the people asked for a king so they could be like the other nations. God said, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them” (1 Sam. 8:7). Many people did not listen to Samuel when he warned them about what the king would claim as his rights. Today, too many have not received the warning that a king will send sons to war, take away daughters' rights, and let the harvest rot in the fields. The people refused to listen then, and they refuse to listen now.
Christians serve one king, Jesus Christ, who said, “If you love me, obey my commandment” (John 14:15). In our current culture, people need to understand the result of rejecting Jesus as King of kings. God did not ordain kings then, nor does He do it now.
God loves all His creation; so, He gave man the right to choose to live or die. We choose for ourselves whom to serve, will it be God or Satan? Stand boldly, and do not reject God’s Word. Jesus did not come to destroy the Law. He came to reconcile it with the Gospel Message. So, stand boldly for the Word of God, for Jesus Christ did what He came to do.
