Nora Jean Scott, 96, of Senatobia, MS passed away July 27, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Ellsworth Osborne and Mary Elsie Osborne; husband, Thomas Wilburn "Willie" Scott; son, Vernon Max Costner; siblings, Emma Mae Osborne, Laverne Winters, twin brother, Norman Dean Osborne, Ermal Ellsworth Osborne, Elmo Lee Osborne, and Floyd Lewis Osborne. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Jean Powell (Lee) of Senatobia, MS; sister, Elsie Fern Smith of Woodward, OK; grandchildren, Lee Powell IV (Alisha), Brandon Powell (Lindsey), Seth Powell, Max Costner, Veronica Costner, Justin Costner (Jennifer), and Katie Davis; great grandchildren, Addy Beth Powell, Nora Kate Powell, Henry Powell, Major Powell, Gabby Costner, Jaxson Costner, Alex Martinez, Tristen Martinez, Aiden Longfellow, Camilla Costner, Kaizer Costner, Jerry Wayne Greene, and Taylor James Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Solid Rock Assembly of God in Senatobia. Burial followed in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
