The final plat for a new convenience store on the north side of Senatobia has been submitted.
Developers for the convenience store attended the Senatobia Planning Commission meeting Monday, Jan. 23, where a parcel of commercially zoned land at the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 51 and Merryhill Ranch Road was unanimously approved for construction.
A final site plan for the 3.5 acres was approved by the city planning commission in September. Developers said the store will face the corner of U.S. Highway 51 and Merryhill Ranch Road with entrances and exits to both thoroughfares.
The lot for the convenience store will also include a 50-foot landscape buffer zone at the rear of the property to complement existing trees.
Four other convenience stores are already in the works for Senatobia. Zoning approvals have been granted for locations on Shands Bottom Road just north of Back Acres Country Club, at the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 51 and LRL Road, at the southeast corner of Highway 4 West and Matthews Drive and at the southeast corner of Highway 4 and Two Mile Branch Road.
