Local schools close for weather

UPDATE- Northwest Mississippi Community College has announced that due to inclement weather all campuses will be closed on Thursday. For more on the Rangers, click HERE

Tate County School District has announced that Thursday (today) will be a Virtual Learning day for students. For more information on the Tate County School District, click HERE

Magnolia Heights has announced, Thursday the campus will close due to weather. In a statement on Twitter late Wednesday evening the school stated the following:

"Our surrounding areas are now under an Ice Storm Warning. For the safety of our MHS students, staff, and families, school will be closed due to inclement weather on Thursday, Feb.11th"

MHS has also canceled the soccer game against St. Joe. For more on the Chiefs, click HERE

Due to inclement weather, the Senatobia Municipal School District has announced Thursday, February 11, 2021 will transition to a virtual learning day for all students. Students should treat the day as they would a Virtual Friday. For more information, click HERE
