Jarrod “Kyle” Spencer, 40, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away on March 21, 2026.
Kyle was a gifted athlete who played football at Magnolia Heights School, where he graduated in 2004. He went on to attend the University of Mississippi graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
Following college, Kyle moved to Houston, Texas, where he built a successful career in the oil and gas industry. As a landman and founder of Black Oak Oil and Gas Company, he was known for his sharp mind and exceptional talent in the field.
In his free time, Kyle enjoyed fishing, weightlifting and playing golf. He was a devoted son and brother who also loved caring for his dogs.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Kenney and Kandy Spencer; his brother, Kent Spencer (Taylor Holland); and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Georgia Caffey, and Dobb and Lorraine Spencer.
Services were held Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Senatobia First Methodist Church.
Burial followed in Longtown Cemetery.
