James "KAMALA" Arther Harris, 70, of Looxahoma, MS died Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Oxford, MS. He was a dedicated member of Simon Chapel #2 Church, a Pro Wrestler since 1970(WWF), a former truck driver for Roy Williams and owner of Big Jim Trucking CO. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Batesville Civic Center in Batesville, MS. Burial followed in Simon Chapel #2 Cemetery in Como, MS. He is survived by his wife, Emmer Jean Bradley Harris; five daughters, Lasonia Webb and Jean Harmon of Como, MS., Annette Freeman and Marilyn Avant of Senatobia, MS. and Juanita James of Olive Branch, MS. and a son, William Avant of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by a sister, Emma Harris Caldwell of Senatobia, MS., 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater was in charge of arrangements.
