Culture Club meets

The Senatobia Culture Club held it’s December meeting in the First Baptist Church Welcome Center which was decorated for the season with beautiful poinsettias and Christmas trees.

Hostesses were Rosamond Hawkins, who couldn’t attend due to illness, Ann Taylor, and Rita Wolfe.

Students invited to open mic poetry night

Area students will have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes during an open mic poetry reading event.

The Mississippi Poetry Society’s 2023 Student Contest will be held Tuesday, Jan. 31 beginning at 6 p.m. The event will be held at Coffee Central Coffee Shop located at 5627 Getwell Road in Southaven.
