A break-in at a Dollar General in Coldwater remains under investigation by the town’s police department.
Chief Rickey Dandridge said the burglary occurred during the early morning hours on Friday, April 29. An initial investigation uncovered burglars cut a hole in the roof before entering the store at 10,155 U.S. Highway 51 and firing several gunshots inside the office area, according to Dandridge.
He said approximately $2,000 in store deposits was taken from the Dollar General.
