Carol Ann Billingsley Mock passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Providence Assisted Living in Senatobia, MS. Carol was born October 29, 1941, to the late Maxwell Holmes and Robbie Green Billingsley.
Carol married Melvin Hubert Mock, Jr. on November 25, 1960, and they were married until his death on August 27, 2015. They had three children: Robbie Renee Mock Thompson (Ken), Penny Frances Mock Taylor (Dudley) and David Hubert Mock (Jennifer).
She had 6 grandchildren: Jessica Leigh Thompson, Bryan Joe Taylor (Emily), Adam Mock Taylor (Caitlin), Caroline Renee Taylor, Jeanne Claire Hodges Jernigan (Burkley) and Merriam Elise Mock Wolfe (William). Five great grandchildren: Reese Dudley Taylor, Bonnie Luella Taylor, Eli Yount Taylor, Margaret "Margot" Frances Taylor and Brooks Thomas Jernigan.
Carol is also survived by a niece, Hayley Mock Warren (Brent) and nephew Scott Billingsley (Laurie). She also leaves a great niece, Ella Grace Warren and three great nephews, Grisham Warren, Max Billingsley and Liam Billingsley all whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Maxwell Holmes Billingsley, Jr. and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Phil and Gloria Mock. Carol was a member of Senatobia First Baptist Church.
Carol graduated from Senatobia City School in 1959 and NWCC in 1961. She retired from Peoples Bank (First Horizon) after 38 years of service.

Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the chapel of Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial follows in Bethesda Cemetery.
