Bessie Maude Betts Tate, 93, homemaker, of Coldwater, MS died Friday, May 26, 2023 in Senatobia, MS. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 3 at Mt. Calm MB Church in Arkabutla, MS. Burial followed in Mt. Calm MB Church Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters; Glinda T. Harris of Olive Branch, MS, Jill A. Harris of Horn Lake, MS, Lesia M. Cathey and Vera S. Alexander both of Senatobia, MS; five sons, Charles S. Tate Sr. and Melvin Tate both of Senatobia, MS, Marvin Tate of Coldwater, MS, Thelma Tate Jr. of Memphis, TN and Danny C. Tate, Sr of Southaven, MS, 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater, MS was in charge of arrangements.
