Albert Graham Freeman of Independence, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 93. He was born on October 21, 1929 in Palestine, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Davis Freeman; his father, Les Freeman; his mother, Christine Graham Freeman; and his son, Clark Freeman. Albert is survived by 2 sons: Wayne Freeman (Joann) and Greg Freeman (Marcia) As well as his 2 daughter-in-laws Jo Freeman and Brenda Hatton; He is also survived by 28 loved ones who referred to him as Grandy or Big A. His grandchildren are: Stephanie Freeman (Jay), William Freeman (Crystal), Neil Freeman (Jessica), Jody Freeman (Jamie), Davis Freeman (Amy), Melanie Ragsdale (Keith), Hannah Jensen (Daryl), and Callie Langston He is also survived by 17 great-grand-children as well as 3 great-great-grandchildren. He retired from Trunkline Gas Company after working there for many years. He also worked as a dairy farmer and a Tate County Supervisor. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting and working on old cars, trucks, & tractors. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Independence United Methodist Church. A memorial service was held on October 21, 2023 at Independence United Methodist Church.
