Thomas “Sonny” Rowe passed away July 9, 2025 at the age of 88 peacefully sitting on his back porch. He was born Dec. 23, 1936.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Stewart Rowe; daughter, Melinda Rowe Wade (Chris); two grandchildren, Jessica Kathleen Jones and Austin Ray Young; and one great grandchild, Carsen Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ora Rowe; three sisters, Troy Jones, Autra Mae Wattlington and Evelyn Coker; three brothers, Jack Rowe, Pete Rowe and Robert Rowe.
Sonny proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from ICGRR as Bridge Inspector and also retired from State of Tennessee as bridge inspector for TN Short Line RR.
He loved fishing and gardening, but most of all spending time with family and friends. He will forever be missed but will always live on in our hearts.
A private family memorial service will be held later.
Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater, Miss., was in charge of arrangements.
