Animal project receives grant

Homeless Animals Relief Project received a $4,000 “I Care for Animals” grant from the Mississippi Board of Animal Health. The funds will be used as part of their feline spay/neuter initiative. Spay/neuter (birth control surgery) reduces pet overpopulation and improves feline health.
