Most of us read about, hear about, or see that “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21, ESV). The proof is in the Scriptures with the death of Ananias and his wife, Sapphire. Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit, and Sapphire witnessed the lie (Acts 5:3-5).
